Even among activist liberal types, it's unlikely that they'll react. To many of those I've seen it'll just be seen as parlimentary procedures.

Although I'd say the nuke option itself will have disasterous consequences...I'd forsee a real nutcase being appointed to the SC but I expect to see a nurcase appointed regardless.

Most likely though I think what Yupster said will happen. Reid will follow through with his threats to shut down the senate. The only thing I'd wonder is whether pukes would be successfull of not in portraying Dems as "obstructionists".
