12. I used to have a bushbot at home..
We had 2 signs in our yard in 2004, my Kerry/Edwards and his unmentionable... We would actually battle for the better position in terms of viewing from the street (he'd move his to the forefront, I'd notice and move mine ahead, etc.. Eventually we reached an equitable compromise (though I was still really inclined to douse his w/ gasoline and set it on fire...just kidding!)

We got lots of comments from neighbors on our battling signs (and I therefore got lots of opportunities to spread the pro-change gospel, which was cool. My neighborhood is 80% republican but I have many social friends who will actually listen to a well-reasoned argument.)

While my husband is still decidedly *not* a progressive or a liberal, he recently agrees with me that Bush is the WORST president ever... He is leaning more libertarian these days (but I continue to 'gently' work on him!)

Do you try with yours (to sway him) and if so, what works if anything? Looking for tips (beyond the obvious )
;)
