27. He was likeable, told us he was honest, told us he would
cut txes and bring prosperity, that he would be a uniter and not a divider, and told us that he would include all Americans in his dream, while somehow preserving American morals, and that he was for a strong proud America.

He aligned himself with powerful religious images and words.

He forgot to tell us that the neocons had been planning how to run ths country for a long time and that he would say pretty words not matched by his deeds.

People got suckered into the awe- shucks, regular guy, going back to American traditions in a tolerant and enlightened 21 st century.
Then he unleashed the theocrats on us and their plans for social engineering.

He cut taxes, invaded Iwreck, screwed up nation building, ranup a huge deficit for our children and brought out the ugliest in human nature in the name of cultural wars.

People can't believe they were duped.
