LIVE on The Today Show this morning.

She tried to play off the whole treason thing for laughs. Someone must have told her she was funny and that "Scooter" is funny enough to wash over the treason.

Ann answered the question from Lauer about Kay Bailey Hutchison's test flight of the ill fated talking point this weekend"I think it was a ham handed attempt to say...." Ann then went on to say something that I rewound three times and never could understand what she was saying or really distinguish any sequence of words that made any sense.

On "Scooter" (hehehehe) and Rove
"They're just two guys who work in the White House"

"Republicans, so far, haven't done what Democrats do-attack the Special Prosecutor"
-crosstalk with Lauer-
"I mean how could you attack Ken Starr He's a BOY SCOUT!!!!"

On Bush's political capital and how much he has left

"He has only made one mistake and that was Meirs...correct that and everything will be okay"

Almost verbatim. I will post the link when they make it available.
