Clark Fans: Stay On Target! (Or: How I Learned to Love the Exit Polls)

First, let me reiterate how bad exit polls can be. http://politicalwire.com/archives/2004/01/27/exit_polls.html">Political Wire, the first place to break this exit poll, reminds us how bad the NH exit polls were:

Kerry 34, Dean 31, Edwards 12 and Clark 9

Second, all of the previous tracking polls indicate that most of Kerry's support in this tight OK race is clustered in the big cities like Oklahoma City--and same-day exit polls, unlike normal polls have a much harder time getting together a truly random sample (which is why the early ones are so often wrong) so it's likely that we are actually doing quite well, if these polls have undersampled the rural population and the Native American reservations.

What this means, in any case, is that we should keep our noses to the grindstone, and keep calling through eBlocks!
