OK, I listened to it on our recent road trip.
Overall, I liked it and would recommend it.
There's a LOT about her grief over the death of her son Wade.
At first, it brought both of us to tears.
And I know it's very important to her, but it did go on and on to the point that we skimmed a couple of the CDs.
(It's a 13+ hour audio book.)

What was really fascinating is how very close John came to winning Iowa and NH in 2000. and how close he came to being named Gore's running mate.
Makes you wonder what might have happened if he had won the nomination or if Gore had picked him instead of Lieberman.

It also makes what's going on now in the 2 bellweather states seem like 'been there, done that' deja vu.
