16. No, it doesn't make it all about race
Here's the thing. Obama winning here shows that it's possible. It gets people used to the idea of seeing someone other than the status quo in leadership roles.

It opens the door for people of all colors and backgrounds, of diverse views. This is why I can be excited about an Obama win, despite not being thrilled with with the way he handles things.

PS: It's called sexual orientation, "preferences" are for shoes and hamburger condiments, please.
