A lot of people think that politics doesn't affect their everyday life....they are sadly mistaken. I know just how much policy shapes the world around me.

As far as to our family situation...it keeps getting uglier. The perpetrator of the murder was our Great Grandmother's own son....and he has been destroyed by alcoholism. He's the kind of drunk that would drink turpentine if there was nothing else....

But, the autopsy report has come out now...and it's just so heartbreaking and vicious....It is a good thing that my husband is in Iraq right now and not in Washington state....

I'd have to chain him to a wall to keep him from trying to avenge his Grandma in word or action.
