32. She is running for President.
You can't play the "but I'm just a girl" card and ask for the top job. If she were President, she would be the leader of the free world. Even now, she is an ex-first lady and a sitting Senator. She already has greater status than a cable news pundit. Frankly, I could not see either Obama or Edwards - or Kerry or Gore for that matter acting like that. There is something inherently bullying underneath the levity there.

I have to say that I was incredibly impressed that after HRC said just being a woman President would be change that Obama did NOT point out he was black. The fact is that the gender of the President is far less important than the policies expressed. As one who has worked in large corporations, my experience is that for the woman reporting to them, some men were better than some of the woman in facilitating successful approaches allowing women to balance family life and work. I know that's a very different level, but I don't want it to either a positive ora negative that a potential President is female. I want to choose on who they are and what they will do.
