Trent Lott: Meet the Clinton's!
Advertisements [?]
Back in 2002 we lambasted Trent Lott and forced him out of his leadership position in the Senate for this comment:

"When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over the years, either."

He spoke those words during the 100th birthday party of Senator Strom Thurmond. We pulled out the knives.

Bill Clinton has just called the first African American candidate with a shot at the White House a "fairy tale" and Hillary Clinton has accused him of providing "false hope" to American's. Hillary even went further by down playing Martin Luther King's role in the civil rights movement, saying it took a President (implying herself) to create real change.

There is virtual silence. Yet, I can tell you that I can't imagine a black person in America who did not hear her message loud and clear. I cannot believe that we're going to give the Clinton's a free pass after we went after Trent Lott. That is hypocrisy at its highest. That sends a very clear message to the Black Community: "I'm with you... so long as I'm not against you."

I hope Al Sharpton and Rev. Jessie Jackson take to the Air Waves and put things in prospective for American Voters. They need to be called on this. We cannot allow this to happen. It was disgusting, ugly, desperate and evil. I think the Clinton Campaign should apologize.
