13. I'm still waiting for someone
...who will point out what difference there is between the candidates, on this. Their speeches are all mostly devoid of substance, identifying problems to be faced and laying out priorities but shying away from specifics.

Here's an absolutely rousing policy speech a couple months ago by Senator Edwards:

Read through the entire speech (and this blogger's glowing review of it) and you'll find that it contains exactly the same amount of substance as a typical Obama speech, except for the fact that Edwards plugs in an acronym at one point. He never says anything about how he'll get any of this done.

Does that mean he has no ideas? Of course not. It means he doesn't plan to bore this audience to tears reading a policy white paper to them, because anyone who is interested can go to his website and read for themselves.

Which seems to still be something the Obama detractors here are unwilling to do.
