They had a host of military generals lined up. Max Cleland went to Bush's ranch. There were responses from his crew mates who hadn't spoken in years. There was a huge response. That had always been more than enough in the past, the media had always carried the response. They didn't in August. Kerry personally addressed it in 2 weeks.

There were responses from everybody except the person who is supposed to be the attack dog. John Edwards.
