The only individual on MSNBC even slightly to the left is Keith Olbermann, and he's clearly anti-Bush but not necessarily to the far left. I don't even think Dennis Kucinich is that far to the left. In Europe, Kucinich would be practically a moderate, middle-of-the-road candidate.
But I completely agree with you. The network cannot play an active role in choosing the candidates. They should not be creating the news by actively selecting the candidates on behalf of the party. Their role is to observe and report the news. Period.
