15. I'm not trying to argue with you
There's plenty of former Republicans who now vote Democratic and heavily back Democrats. So are you saying that someone like Kos (of DailyKos) is a fascist because he supported Reagan in the 1980s? That happened 20 years ago, people have changed BIG time (Look at David Brock as well).

Now there are Republicans who now are anti-Bush, even though they voted for him twice. However, could you see an ex-Republican-who-voted-Bush-twice voting for Hillary? If McCain gets the nomination, I would expect those ex-Republicans shun Hillary and vote for him instead (after all he's the guy that Bush slammed in 2000). Which isn't a good thing for her.

I really don't get your ramblings here... all I can see is Obama is a bridge for all voters and that's very good for him. The cartoon really does hit the nail on the head, I don't see how that is a disagreement to Obama or to my statement.

Reagan was indeed charismatic but he was a shitty president! But his charisma did fool voters. The Republicans did the same with Bush... it was really unfortunate that Gore was portrayed as "stiff" throughout his VP term and even in his early days as Dem Nominee. Bush? They said he was a guy to have a beer with. Right there, they portrayed Bush as "charismatic" and Gore as not. They did the same for Kerry even though we knew Bush was a dumbass by 2004. They used his dumbassery this time, as the "simple" voters went out for him in 2004.

Right now, Hillary's tactics aren't winning points with me. And I really cannot see her easily winning the presidency if she were to get the nomination (it'll be a very close race).
