58. The Good Cop/Bad Cop routine is a problem for his reputation and standing.
In fact, I find it bordering on inappropriate for a past president.

I know, I know. He's acting as her husband, but he's throwing his weight around like, well, a former president.

And regardless of how swell Hillary's supporters think this aggressive demeanor is, aggressively trash-talking her opponents on the campaign trail, getting snippy with reporters, etc., it is exacerbating an already tenuous separation of husband and former president in the minds of many.

So I hope you understand why and how people can harbor feelings on both side of this issue and are themselves conflicted. Pressuring people to decide one way or the other is really invading their space and, in fact, brow-beating.

No offense intended.
