2. Well gee, have you ever been to a funeral and you knew the
person in the casket was really not the person the preacher and the firends and relatives spoke of. It is called respect for the family and if I had been invited to speak at reagans funeral, I doubt serious I would say reagan was a racist and what I care about is that Reagan, the patron saint of the Conservative Movement, made a career out of deliberately appealing to the racist vote. it brought him to power and it was a constant tool throughout his career. Reagan acted in public as a racist acts. He deliberately set out to appeal to racists and continue the odious Southern Strategy. In doing so, he helped to mainstream racism in the GOP and thus the country. No, I would not say that out of respect since he was a President and second out of respect to his family.....

Liking someone is a far cry from saying Reagan was inspiring to the whole country when his policies hurt blacks, hispanics and poor whites and he sure as hell did not inspire the "whole country" and I doubt either clinton would say that in a political campaign, but would say respectful things like I liked Reagan...
