As a social worker, I almost want to cry when I think about how the Clinton presidency single handedly ended ADFC - and if you don't know what that is, then you should not be cutting and pasting "accomplishments." It was probably the single greatest tragedy in my life time and we are STILL suffering the consequences because of it.

I said in another thread that Clinton was a terrible president. But I think my emotions were getting the best of me. His presidency was mixed, at best. Of course he accomplished some positive things. But the negative things he actively pursued as president - not just things that "got through" sort of "against his will" are SO BAD that quite frankly they pretty much overshadow everything else.

The country wasn't better at the end of the Clinton presidency, and that's sad.
