24. I didn't think I was replying to you..
but...there are like 12 states that do standard audits after every election. The rest of us can have zero confidence in the accuracy of the tabulation of our votes. Some states still use touch screens with no verifiable paper what so ever. This bill requires that states 'opt in', meaning every state has the choice. Why would any state choose to implement the very simple measures that significantly improve the security of our voting systems, if people don't care? And if people don't care, what are we doing here?
