Why is it so hard for Hillary Clinton to admit that she was wrong on Iraq?

Hillary would not admit that tonight, and I honestly think it would be good for her to say that she was wrong in the election. Everyone knows that people make mistakes and when they admit them, people for the most part are sympathetic. It makes absolutely no sense. John Edwards admitted he was wrong, so why can't she?
