I don't even know if they're still friends--but politicians sell out their principles for power all the time, so it's not out of the realm of possibility if polls start showing the Dem nominee beating McCain in the summer because they actually have a war exit strategy. The war WILL be a huge issue if/when McCain is the nominee.
