42. Yes, they have been loyal public servants. And we have been VERY loyal constituents.
Consideration, to say nothing of respect, is a two way street. They work FOR us. They don't OWN those seats, we give them to them, every six years.

By their frankly unnecessary endorsement, they split the group that has supported them all these years. Way to divide, instead of unite--and it was more about them than Obama--IMO. They wanted to demonstrate that they had "weight" and they miscalculated on this one in a big way. As I said, they have been REBUKED, as they should have been.

Gee, I need to stop believing what I read on this board, I guess! All day today I was told that Clinton would have her ass handed to her in MA, that she was toast, that Obama would crush her.

I do think that the Senatorial Two-Fer energized her base here in a big way--unless all those polls that were being thrown up here were total bullshit.

That said, I don't hold grudges. I'll send Kerry a note and tell him I think he was an ass, but he still has my vote in November. Maybe he'll listen a bit more carefully to us in future.

Barbara Boxer has it right--she's waiting to see what her constituents want her to do.
