And they actually are in play for 2008: Florida, Nevada, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Even though Arizona has been trending purple lately I won't include that because it is McCain's home state, but Hillary won in Arizona also. McCain has real popularity in California and we need to hold it, and Hillary won California as well.

Democrats can win the four states I listed, and Clinton is way ahead of Obama in Ohio also, though of course that primary has not been held yet. Hillary Clinton is showing strength in the States that Democrats have a chance to flip from Red to Blue. I think that is more important than Obama racking up victories in Idaho, Alabama. and North Dakota.
