Obama Supporters: Cease Fire
Advertisements [?]
I know that we get as good as we give, but the threads on here today have convinced me that Clinton supporters are getting desperate. I am not worried about having to do a '180' I won't vote for Clinton so it is my fervent hope that Obama is the nominee, but - there is no need for venom.

We know that Obama:

  1. Has all the momentum

  2. Has the fundraising ability

  3. Will draw out voters that will stay home or cast a protest vote if he's not nominated

His message to date though has been about hope, not attacks. Forget Hillary, she has lost the momentum, she has lost the ability to fundraise - stop attacking people who support her, tell them why to vote for Obama - not why to vote against Hillary, because come November we'll want them to vote for Obama. Unless you are in a state that hasn't had it's primary yet, it's time to focus on the general election. If HRC's supporters want to continue spitting venom, let them - they must, after all, be disappointed. Let them vent, but don't respond in kind. If you get angry, log off for a bit or if you can afford it and you get really angry make a donation to Obama and then log off for a bit.
