and having been on this board for 3+ yrs I just ignore the stupid posts but your right the new ones don't know about this.

DU has changed alot since I found it in early 2004 on Michael Moores site. I am not sure where I would send the newbies until they toughen up a bit but I wouldn't send them here now unless you warn them that right now isn't the time to see the best of our site or dailykos as primary wars are going on and people are passionate about who they believe in and some of those people are being stupid and saying things they don't really mean.

If you do send them here tell them to stay in one of the candidates thread that they are for or even Keith Olbermans thread, all good loving people there.
