The lady got hooked on drugs and did things when she wasn't in her right mind. This was 28 years ago.

O'Bama admitted to doing Cocaine. We have compassion for our guy, what about for their's. This is not an issue of public trust but a private struggle.

When conservatives were bashing Kerry on defense issues, McCain stood up and set the facts straight. I think the man has recently been compromised. But he still stands up and does decent things in this regard. Let's treat the man with the same respect.

However, the affair with the lobbyist ... that's an issue that probably has to be explored. This lady was his "traveling companion" and you'd have to be stupidly naive to not understand what that means. For our side, the sex is null. Both parties are adults. It's the romantic relationship with an advocate for the the things you regulate on behalf of the public that's our interest.
