Whence cometh the "Angry Black Man"?

This thing today with lowlife small town radio talk show asshole Bill Cunningham (using Obama's middle name in the most derogatory way possible) underscored a notion that has been out there for a while .... that the right wing is going to play on people's fears and bigotry - as they ***always*** do - during the campaign.

This is about neither Clinton nor Obama. The fact is, since neither is an older white guy, both are open for such attacks.

With Clinton it would be fear of emasculation or mistrust in any woman's ability to 'be tough'.

With Obama it may be a bit more difficult for them. But what they want is not tying him to terrorism by the implication of his middle name although that's just ducky with them). Instead, they want an indignant, angry black man. And the attacks we'll see, for at least a while, will go toward simply trying to piss him off.

The Shriek Monkeys are gathered in the trees and the chorus has started.
