4. I was an Edwards supporter who reluctantly came over to HRC
Mainly because I thought she was a known quantity and I believed (and still do), she would be up to the job. I thought his experience was just too lacking. But I decided to watch the debate last night with as open a mind as I could, and I thought that he looked much more a leader. Whether he can do the job or not is another matter, but I do believe he's smart and diplomatic - something that's been sadly lacking for nigh on 8 years.
It's all perception when someone runs for president. We all know the story of the 1960 debate between JFK and Nixon. People who heard it on the radio gave the debate to NIxon, but those who saw his pasty sweaty face on TV (he was recovering from flu), compared him to the tanned beautiful JFK and said he was the loser.
Hillary unfortunately didn't look as good.
I hope he's up to the job. (But I do know Republicans would walk barefoot over hot coals to vote against Hillary).
