I don't think Cincinnati is anywhere near as racist as it was, say, twenty years ago. In fact, I find your generalization to be offensive.

But... the muslim smear has certainly hurt Obama here. Saturday afternoon at Obama HQ, our organizers were fielding calls from concerned voters who said they'd been contacted by the Carpenters' and Communications' Unions about their vote. When told they'd be voting for Obama, the callers said, "So, you'd rather vote for a Muslim than a woman?"

They're working frantically to get the calls on tape, but there have been many instances of this happening.

It's depressing. C'mon Texas!!
