Kerry may indeed go against his own beliefs and retain Roe V Wade, in fact Ill bet he would. But the real and terrible effect that a Kerry victory would bring is that the 60% or so who never vote will return to their slumbers thinking all is well....It aint.

The one true hope for this nation lies in awakening the slumberers, reenergising the disenfranchised and those who have ostracised themselves from the process. I have a very great faith in my fellow Americans, but they are ,sadly, fat and lazy or disgusted and uninvolved. Should something, or more accurately, a series of somethings reenergise them I believe that they will do the absolute right thing!
