Sen. McCain appeared on NBC's Today show with Sen. Evan Bayh to discuss the recent developments in Iraq. At the end of the interview, he responded to a question from Katie Kouric about being mentioned as VP with Sen. Kerry. Sen. McCain stated (paraphrasing), "I will not be a candidate for Vice-President and I will not be switching my party affiliation." When Ms. Kouric asked if it was time for the rumors and speculation to end, Sen. McCain replied, "Absolutely. It's not going to happen."

Can we move on now?
