Hey McCain! Why not give us gas tax holiday legislation for this Memorial Day?

I am all against the gas tax holiday, but am making a pretty long trip (a long trip in this economy) over the holiday weekend.
Why not do your job as a Senator and push for this legislation?
You don't need to be president and it will give all of America a chance to see who is willing to lead (read CHANGE WASHINGTON) and who is willing to pander (read THE SAME OLD SHORT SIGHTED PORK BARREL DC).

I want my $7.00 gas holiday tax break for Memorial Day! Who will deliver???
