IMO there are racists who will not vote for a black candidate and racists who will not vote for a white candidate.

I have no idea how many there are but the primary exit polls suggests perhaps 15% or so of the voters say race is important and that appears to be about even among Obama/Clinton voters.

That may suggest that among voters in the Dem primaries, there were about 6-7% white racists and 6-7% black racists or some other different explanation altogether.

ON EDIT ADD: I browsed a few of the exit polls since posting this reply.

Those who voted for Obama and say race is important appear to be a larger percentage than those who voted for Clinton and say race is important.

Are Clinton voters more egalitarian than Obama voters?
