as long as they continue to be civil to each other and only attack mcpain, we should hope for a long primary season for these reasons:

as long as they're both in the race, they ARE the news and mcpain is largely ignored. as long as they respect each other instead of dragging each other down we'll be ok. additionally, the more they both bust on mcpain, the only press he'll continue to get will be the exposing of his lies and his lame attempts at defending himself. to this i give a

also, as long as they're both in the race, we'll continue to see record new democratic voter registrations across the country since they both appeal to different groups. that will help us immensely not only in the presidential election but also in the house and senate races. to this i give two

barring a catastrophe, it's going to be obama. i have faith that hilly will unite the splintered democratic factions if she ends up having to bow out. though i don't think she'd be the ideal running mate for obama, if polls make it look like the two need to be on the same ticket then, godammit let's make it a more historic ticket than we could have imagined....an african american AND a woman!

so, DUers...obamanites and hillaryites....i say to you, please stop the bickering and support the dem nominee whomever it is. and let's look forward to and enjoy a long, drawn out race to the convention that will only benefit us if we play it right.
