47. Jake, it's not just the GOP...
It's quite a few people in the country regardless of political party. That West Virginia primary with almost 80% admitting that race was a significant factor is proof of it. And you can bet your ass that in other states where the number that ADMITTED to it was lower, there was still a Bradley effect going on. People won't admit to it but it is still there and plays a huge factor with quite a few people. And this is why I feel the argument that Obama can't win because he's black and therefore he shouldn't be nominated to be a ridiculous argument. It's like saying that Jackie Robinson shouldn't have been allowed to play in the major leagues because something bad would happen. You are absolutely right that we need to drag this crap out of the closet once and for all and Obama as a Presidential nominee will help with this. I am tired of hearing the media say "Hillary just connects better with those voters" when she and Obama are saying the exact same frickin' things and he's outspending her in these states. Stop sugar coating it, call it what it is.
