59. OT: I'd be hackering for concessions from Hillary if the shoe was on the other foot |

Race would be upfront, in her face.
If her base is white voters, if I was negotiating for a graceful exit on BHO's behalf, I'd ask her what her reforms would be---compared to Bill Clinton's administration---in favor on non-white voters. She could have an administration that looked like America BUT would she have administration which understood and pressed Congress for votes on issues which effect minorities. Would she be willing to trade homosexuals in the military---don't ask don't tell---for crucial policy considerations in a legislative process?
If she didn't come out and publically put these issues front and center after the negotiations I would ask BHO to fight on.
It makes no sense to cut my nose off to spite my face in GE with McCain. I'd vote for the race baiting HRC, but I'd be demanding Dean do something about forcefully saying race is a fact of everyday life in America. No race or culture (includes these immigration issues) should be pilloried in a run for office. It is inexcusable and defies history/everyday life reality.
It should be noted civil rights/human rights organizations have not burned either BHO or HRC for the politically untenable statements and actions in this primary season. At least they have made in this election.
