5. The two threads telling how he was a reformed Republican
who thinks that we need to purge our party of all the impure.

He was, in his telling of the story, a guy who voted for Reagan and both Bushes but has seen the error of his ways and only wants what is good for the Democrats.

People were lining up to agree, and then he turned out to be a troll.

It reminds me a lot of a very skilled troll we had years ago named seventhson. He took in many people here before voluntarily unmasking himself as a freeper on election night of 2004.
