I called my husband who was out of town and told him this:
'
"Don't know when but I just saw the first African American President. The only thing between him and the Oval Office is him deciding not to pursue it"


But I did go through about a month of mental gymnastics, mostly over this:

hmmm first African American nominee...

hmmm first female nominee


AA??? female???

AA??? female??? (we need an exploding head smiley, for this spot)

I blame it all on John Edwards for dropping out (not really)
