If we lose (and if she takes it to the convention) she'll probably rightly or wrongly be lamed for it. People can have short memories, but they can also have long ones (see ralph nader's support now vs. in 2000) In part I'd think it would depend on how much McCain could be reigned in by a democratic house and senate (again in the case that we lose the presidential race)It'll also depend on what candidate is running against her, and if she wants to do a presidential bid concurrently
