If there is any doubt that Obama/Biden ticket is helping downticket candidates in EVERY state (and that local repukes are scared shitless), take note of this TX repuke's comment:

"I'm up to my ass in a damn campaign," Goolsby said. "This is the only job I've got and I'm trying to save it. Obama's got people coming from the rafters."

For those who don't know, Republican incumbent Rep. Tony Goolsby is the Chair of House Administration. This is the third straight cycle Democrats have tried to knock him out of his seat -- and based on that quote above, I think we may just do it this time.

And that campaign is being waged by none other than Democrat Carol Kent, who is hammering Goolsby left and right as Democrats -- to use Rep. Goolsby's own words -- are "coming from the rafters" to put pressure on him.
