16. Brava! Bellisima and...stuff.

I just used up about 50% of my entire Italian vocabulary...

Lots of the comments were great, too.

But somebody sure has...issues:

Painful Dog: Come election day every liberal white woman will get up early, take a long hot shower, put on her favorite dress and apply makeup and perfume. She is all smiles and beaming with joy as she drives to the polling place with soft romantic music playing on the radio. The wait is over, the day has finally arrived when she can express her love for her favorite black man.

As she pulls the lever, her whole body starts to quiver and she experiences her first real big O.

I'm sure that will be a bigger "O" than she's ever gotten from the likes of you. But I digress. And..."Painful Dog?" Somebody call the ASPCA. I wonder what he's doing with that poor dog.

Usual Annoying Personal Off-Topic Swerve: bear with me. In September I went to Budapest, Hungary and ended up on a tour with 2 guys from from Argentina. (I work in Egypt and get an R&R trip every 3 months, that's why I was in Budapest.)

The tour took us to "Statue Park" just outside Budapest, where a bunch of gigantic Soviet-era monuments were dumped after the fall of Communism.

Our tour guide was a lovely young woman who was 14 years old when Communism collapsed. She shared with us her memories of being in the "Little Drummers" and "Young Pioneers."

Talk turned to the U.S. elections and I got an earful about how much Argentinians hate Bush. (That happens to me a lot.)

They also expressed their complete disdain for Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Evita" and Madonna's movie version. To these guys, the Perons were a part of their history not really suitable for entertainment as a musical.

I suggested that maybe someday, someone would write a similar musical about the Bush family. We all got a laugh out of that, albeit a pretty GRIM laugh...
