Just early voted in WI (Stood in line for two hours--but flew by with the company I kept)

I live in Madison, I got there at 8:10 AM expecting on a Saturday morning right after Halloween to be a line, but probably not as long as some other days especially at that hour--boy was I wrong! I stood and waited for two hours, but there can be no doubt who people were voting for. I saw people with Obama buttons, t-shirts, etc. Young and old. I stood by three 80 something year old ladies, all friends for years, and all widows who look out for one another. One of the ladies was in a wheelchair, and said to me, "My first vote was for President Roosevelt in 1944 and I've never been so excited to vote for anybody as I am for Barack." The two hours flew by listening to these lovely ladies. One said, "McCain is an old fogie. We're all much older than he is but we're not old fogies." I asked them who their favorite president up to now (in their lifetime was) and two said JFK and one said Truman, "He told it with the bark off."

Later on going to do some calling. What a great way to start the day.
