It's raining like hell here and I hear a noise from out in the field. So I grab the spotlight and go out. When I get out of range of the house lights I turn on my light and there's some dumb sumbitch trying to pull my Obama sign out of the ground. I look down at the road and there's a girl sitting in the driver's seat of a pickup on the road at least 200 feet away. I hollered at him "Get your hands off that effin sign" and he was so startled he hauled ass down the hill, slipping sliding and falling on his ass in the wet grass. He finally made it to the pickup and the oman drove off.

This is a pretty lightly traveled road but that sign was visible from quite a way off. But why the fuck would someone go to all that trouble, gettin soaked to the skin, just to take down a political sign?

Unless some of his buds at the redneck bar down the road saw the sign and put this asswipe up to it.

BTW, that sign isn't going anywhere. It's mounted on a sheet of 1/2" plywood bolted (not nailed) to 2 4x4 posts that I set in 5 foot deep holes that I augered into the ground. Our bull goes over there every day and rubs his ass against the posts and he weighs 87,000 tons and the posts never move.
