About 8 yrs ago I was called to Trinty Church to help with a parking problem. See I'm a police officer that worked in the same district in which Trinty Church is located. Upon arriving I was met by an angry resident sho was upset that a memeber of Trinity had parked in front of her house. After about 30 minutes of explaining to her that the street in front of her house was not her property, the situation was finally settled. When I finished, a person behind me said, "Officer you handled that nicely", I turned around and said thanks. He said "have you ever thought about being a trial lawyer because that's the way you sounded," with a laugh. After talking for about 10 minutes he said his name was Barack Obama and that he was a State senator. We talked mostly about sports and quitting smoking I got ribbed for being a Cubs fan (he likes the Sox).

A few yrs later our paths would cross again when he was running for senator of Illinois. He was passing out literature on the street. Nobody knew who he was and nobody stopped to listen to his agenda. I approached him and he remembered me. We talked for a little while and I wished him lucked and he in turn wished me luck with the Cubs lol. He actually remembered that I was a Cubs fan. After speaking with him to a great extent, I have affirmed that he is a man who believes not only in himself but in the American people. He speaks from the heart.

Today it is with great pleasure that I annouce that I have cast my vote for Barack Obama even though he is a Sox fan.

PS
Mr. President if you are reading this I quuit smoking 2yrs ago lol
