It's because of what I saw on a rainy, cold day waiting to vote in Georgia. It was a 3 hour wait in a line that started and ended outside.
All of the Obama supporters around me were determined to vote. Not one person complained. Not one person considered getting out of line. The McCain supporters looked miserable. The Obama supporters looked happy. I saw one Obama supporter leave; but not before telling us she was definitely going to vote by Nov. 4th. I saw many McCain supporters leave. Did I mention that it was freezing cold and wet?  |
