And the be-otch working the polling place told me I couldn't wear my Obama buttons, which was cool, 'cause it is the law, but I told her I refused to remove my "George Bush-The Best Reason for Canadian Citizenship" button, she got all huffy, and started her argument, when the lady that was in charge told her that according to the rules Bush was "not a candidate for any federal, state or municipal office" nor was he "in line to receive any office by the death of an incumbent", and ergo, I could wear any button regarding him I wished. Then the cool lady winked at me as the nasty old bitch went back to her desk. The Obama backers were able to let each other know what was up by simply saying "Change!" No mention of our man, just "Change!" and a high five!
At 7:35, my little precinct, which has about 5 thousand votes normally, already had 900 after a half hour! This turnout is amazing!!!
