10. I was there in 2001
protesting the selection, not election of the criminal George Bush.

We took over the town, took over most of the parade route. It was a cold bitter day. As it wore on, people even left the stands and we took over.

Anyway, you could certainly just walk up to the parade route, even if you didn't have a ticket -- despite the super, duper high security,

[An Aside: Too bad the media gave us such glancing coverage. The lack of coverage of our protest re-proves something about the media. They are with Obama now, as they were with Bush during the 2000 campaign, during the Fla debacle, after Bush was selected, and after the events of 9/11. They cheerleaded for the Iraq war, turning against it only when the people started turning away from it. But the press is a fickle mistress. Eventually , they turned on Bush -- as they turned on Clinton before him, as they turned on Bush I before that. So take the adoration Obama that Obama is currently receiving in the press for what it is -- the adoration of a whore, who will abandon you for her next better paying client when the time comes.)
