5. Yes there is objectivity...
and people make more mistakes from "experience" than you imagine. As a pilot and engineer I have read a lot on aviation accidents and there is always this mistaken belief that people have that experience is a good thing. Often times accidents are the result of "normalization of risk" - i.e. the mistaken belief that just because you've gotten away with an unsafe behavior many times that you won't one day have to pay a price for it.

Normalization of risk has led to most of the major disasters you can think of from the sinking of the Titanic, to the Hindenberg, to Apollo 1 and Apollo 13 and both Space Shuttle accidents.

There ISN'T a "unified voice" of the people, you are mistakenly inferring something I never said. There is a chorus of voices and in most cases some kind of consensus or majority opinion but that is NOT the same as a "unison" voice.

NOR am I saying that we don't give Obama a chance but I REFUSE to give him a blind pass and just "trust" him as you unwisely suggest that I should do.

He is my President, NOT my King.
