I live in New Mexico, and have been here for 6 years. Coming from California to New Mexico was a real culture shock as people here tend to be a little complacent (New Mexico uses the term "land of manana"). I have seen Richardson make some changes that have helped New Mexico come into the (at least) 20th century. Not only that, but I find Richardson to be down-to-earth - I can see him as good for our foreign relations.
