She is nowhere close to being in a position to get a chairmanship in the Senate, let alone the most powerful chairmanship (at this point of time). She indeed is considering serving at the will of President Obama because of that.

The second story is probably true, but it still does not give her any leadership role, and she is still far away from it.

Could president Obama make this thing official so that we can move on to things that actually matters to people? Like policy issues or something.
