All seven of the candidates who have declared intentions to seek the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts have committed to participate in the Tuesday, Oct. 4 debate at UMass Lowell.

Elizabeth Warren, a consumer advocate and Harvard Law School professor, accepted an invitation to participate yesterday. She will join fellow candidates Tom Conroy, a third-term state representative; immigration attorney Marisa DeFranco; City Year co-founder Alan Khazei; Bob Massie, co-founder of the Global Reporting Initiative and 1994 nominee for lieutenant governor; engineer and activist Herb Robinson; and Newton mayor Setti Warren."
